See what needs maintenance today, record it at the instrument, and keep every service history up to date.
Regular maintenance and calibration keep your instruments accurate and your results reliable. The Labguru Mobile App shows which equipment needs attention today and lets you record each maintenance on the spot, using the same maintenance types and checklists your lab set up in Labguru. Everything you record is saved to the instrument's history in Labguru right away.
See what's due today
On the home screen, tap Equipment. Under Maintenance Today, you'll see every instrument with maintenance that's due today or overdue, and a count of how many need attention.
Each instrument shows:
- How late its maintenance is, or Never performed if it has never been done
- Its maintenance types, with the ones that are due highlighted
Check an instrument's maintenance
Tap an instrument to open its details. The Maintenance section lists each maintenance type with how often it should be done, and when it was last performed or is next due. Maintenance types that are due are highlighted.
Record a maintenance
- On the instrument's details page, tap the maintenance type you performed.
- Check Performed By and Performed At. They're filled in with your name and today's date.
- Answer the checklist questions. Required questions are marked with *.
- Tap Perform, followed by the maintenance name, for example Perform Rotor cleaning.
A message confirms the maintenance was recorded, and the maintenance type now shows when it's next due.
Note: The checklist questions come from the maintenance template set up for that equipment type in Labguru. A maintenance type without a template shows Missing maintenance template and can't be recorded in the app until a template is added.
Find equipment
On the Equipment screen, search by the instrument's name, ID or type, or tap View all equipment to browse the full list. Tap a result to open its details.
Tips
- Start your day with Maintenance Today: it's the quickest way to see what needs attention across the lab.
- Record maintenance at the instrument: answer the checklist while you work, so nothing is missed or written up later.
- Keep templates up to date: make sure each maintenance type has a template in Labguru, so it can be recorded from the app.
